A neutral supplier directory
Research suppliers offer sphingolipids in different forms, including purified molecular species, labeled internal standards, and reference mixtures. Availability, ownership, specifications, and product ranges can change. This directory is not a ranking, recommendation, or assurance of suitability. Supplier names are listed for reference only; this directory contains no supplier links.

Specify the material before ordering
Check the complete molecular identity, stereochemistry, chain composition, purity statement, supplied solvent, and storage instructions for the exact product. A class name such as ceramide or sphingomyelin is not sufficient to identify a single molecule. Mixtures derived from biological material differ from single-species standards. For quantitative analysis, consider whether an isotopically labeled internal standard is appropriate and whether the analytical method distinguishes relevant isomers.
Consult the supplier's current certificate of analysis and safety documentation. These research materials are not presented here for clinical use. The structure guide explains why chain and head-group specifications matter, and the glossary clarifies common product terminology.
